Kraków Airport is located 11 km from the city centre and has a wide catchment area of 14.5 million inhabitants within a two hour drive. It is a dynamically developing airport which offers its passengers a modern infrastructure and a high standard of service. In 2017 the airport won the first place and was awarded the prestigious ASQ award in the category Europe – Best Improvement by Region by Airports Council International, for improving the quality of passenger service. Increasing passenger satisfaction (2015 – 3.53; 2016 – 3.93; 2017 – 4.16) is mainly entailed by opening brand new, smart and customer-friendly terminal in 2015 as well as continuous implementation of the new passenger services in response to the customers’ needs.

Kraków Airport is the only regional airport in Poland that handles over 6 million passengers a year. In 2018, 24 carriers offer over 110 direct regular connections on four continents: Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. Thanks to diversified network of connections, passengers can enjoy a rich offer of both traditional and low-cost carriers. Direct connections to the largest hubs in Europe enable passengers to travel from Kraków to any place in the world. In 2018 Kraków Airport welcomed over 6.7 M pax (+16%).

Over the next 20 years, Kraków Airport plans to invest about PLN 1 billion in infrastructure development. Kraków Airport has been strongly committed to activities in the area of corporate social responsibility for many years.
