David is a senior expert in the Network Manager. He joined EUROCONTROL in 1996 working in the Central Flow Management Unit as the Manager Incident Investigations, tasked to develop manage and implement an effective reporting system. In 2009, he transferred to the Directorate of Civil-Military ATM Coordination, participating in civil-military studies and projects, then to the Safety Oversight Division performing safety audits and safety case reviews. David joined the Airport Unit in 2012 bringing expertise in Airline, Airport and ATFCM matters to A-CDM, CDO/CCO and RECAT implementation projects. The ACAP, AOP-NOP, APOC-NMOC and “Future Concepts” projects have recently been added to his brief. He is also the Airport Units training manager. He started his aviation career with British Caledonian Airways in Flight Operations in 1984 and remained with British Airways following their merger in 1988.
