Arie Herweijer, Director Business Development and Sales, Harris Orthogon GmbH As a BSc in Aviation Management, Arie was responsible for a number of international Flight Test Programs in Fokker Aircraft after which he led their Marketing activities in the Asia Pacific Region. Following a number of years in IT with Atos he returned to Aviation in 2001. Having worked with major stakeholders in the Aviation Industry for decades, from manufacturers to service providers, he has a good understanding of the requirements to offer a seamless service and improved passenger experience. Arie has extensive experience in strategy -, business development and sales. His drive is to facilitate discussions between end-users and suppliers, ensuring a clear understanding of the challenges to be addressed and technology to be delivered. Today he leads Harris Orthogon’s sales in Europe, where the delivery of solutions that “build a bridge between Airports and ANSPs” is key to success.
